On the 5th May I will be doing a 52km walk around the Isle of Wight to raise funds for Nyansakia Primary School in Western Kenya.

Nyansakia has 520 pupils on its roll. These children are desperate for an education, but are terribly impoverished and almost all come to school undernourished. The 'Friends of Nyansakia' charity provides funds and support for the school and its teaching staff, as well as offering a feeding programme to tackle malnourishment and a crop growing programme to encourage self-sufficiency.

They have a huge need for funding for virtually every aspect of education and daily life, and any contribution made will make a massive difference in giving these children a chance to improve their prospects.
