Restoring Dignity One Person at a time...
One challenge faced by homeless people when living on the streets is maintaining personal hygiene. Some people shower at shelters or others in public toilet blocks, leading them to worry and think,

‘Who is around?’ or ‘Am I safe?’.

Our mobile service would offer homeless persons a safe place to shower, shave, brush their teeth and restore their dignity.

There is a genuine need for access to showers,
Peoples health is a major concern during winter.
Current facilities are dirty and overcrowded
Existing services are available at limited times,
With NO access available on the weekends.
After we verified a need through our Mobile Shower Pilot in london, city lights set out on a mission to build a fully self contained ‘World First’ Mobile Shower for people experiencing homeless across London and the UK.

The new improved design would include:

Two private shower cubicles
A consulting table and chairs
On-board tanks for water supply and waste
On-board gas supply to heat the water
On-board generator for electricity supply
Through partnerships with organisations and the generosity of kind hearted people (like YOU) to help raise the funds to build this ‘World First Mobile Shower Bus to help change thousands of lives in London and the UK.
