‘Feeding people without judgement’

Refugee Community Kitchen (RCK) was created in the Autumn of 2015 to help the refugees living in the camps of Europe.

Having seen tens of thousands of people forced to leave their homes and living in awful conditions in northern France, a group of us – event organisers, chefs, caterers, doulas, and activists – came together to offer assistance in the form of nourishing meals and access to fresh food daily.

We pulled together our skills and those of our resourceful friends, and anyone else drawn to help, and set up Refugee Community Kitchen to serve the camps at Calais and Dunkirk and beyond.
