I am running my first ever half marathon tomorrow in Exeter and I would love to be able to raise some money towards a cause that is close to my heart. I work with children in the Plymouth area who have severe and specific speech disorders, not only does this have a huge impact upon the ability to get their messages across to others it also has an impact on confidence and participation in everyday activities. These children often need lots of intense therapy which requires motivation and perseverance. If I manage to raise any money I will use it to purchase exciting and rewarding resources to help them succeed with their therapy.
