This weekend my nephew’s school (Millstead Primary in Liverpool) was broken into and vandalised, we as a family are not spending any time concentrating on the negative side to this, that’s already being dealt with by Merseyside police. Instead, to help pay for damages and repairs to this wonderful school we’re doing a sponsored walk this Sunday (4th Oct) to raise funds quickly and hopefully limit the disruption this has caused to so many little lives.

Repairs including three of the four mini buses used to socially integrate their students into society in such a positive way, which have been broken into and damaged severely. Our walk will be just over 10miles, from Cocomo in Mossley Hill to the waterfront passing by the Albert Dock, Anglican Cathedral and back vía Smithdown road to our starting point.

With 130 children on roll at Millstead School they provide special education, health and social care plans for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties or complex autism.

We’re not only hoping to raise funds but also awareness for Autism and the spirits of those involved in such amazing programs. Thank you in advance for any support.
