Three juveniles gulls were taken 120 miles to avian specialists Great Western Exotics vets in Swindon as they all have wing problems. They were x-rayed and had fluid samples taken from the shoulder areas to be sent off for sampling. The results came back and Titch and Left Wing have severe septic arthritis which requires 21 days on antibiotics and metacam pain relief/anti- inflammatory’s. Summer, just has a trauma which only needs metacam. So, the vets bill is £1,361.66 and I bought the meds online with the prescription for £91 and fuel was £40. So, need to raise £1,497.
