The loss of a parent is traumatic at any age, but for the Hodge family, this has been particularly hard. Throughout her life, Helen, a treasured mother to Amy, sister to Suzanne and Kevin as well as an Auntie to Luke and Max, battled against Cystic Fibrosis. Towards the end of 2017, Helen furthered endured a fight against leukemia which she sadly lost on the 22nd December. Helen’s young daughter is now living with her uncle, auntie and cousins and the family are adapting to a new life as 5. With this in mind, I have decided to run the London Half marathon with all the money raised going towards a little family break of Amy’s choice.
