On 18th December 2009, I fell on the ice three times, on the way to work. It became clear over time I had a problem as my walking became worse and worse and very painful. A month after the fall I was told I was going to be made redundant from my job. Although, I have worked since, I have found it very difficult to maintain a job due to my mobility issues. I am now living in a care home, which is the right place for me at the moment. In the 2 years, I have been living at the home I have lost 5 stone in weight to help with my dream to walk again. I have recently had some help with obtaining powerchair to get out and about and to study again, to help me get back to work. Because I cannot work at the moment I am asking for help to obtain physio so I can get the help I need to get back on my feet and walk again someday.
