OK - time to make yourself feel fantastic by supporting me through some pain and giving to a great cause!

On the 27th and 28th of June I will be riding 250 miles from Derby to Leicester, Nottingham and Skegness and back. I work for Atos and they have kindly donated 2 days of my time to help the Titan Trust. I will be riding to schools where we will donate bikes for under privileged children - its a great cause and we know it will make a huge difference to their health and well-being.

The mission of The Titan Children’s Trust is to provide the underprivileged and disadvantaged children across the East Midlands with sporting opportunities and active recreational activities that they would ordinarily not get the chance to take part in. These opportunities give these youngsters the sense of achievement, promote their sense of wellbeing and self-worth.

Working closely with The Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre in Skegness, which benefits such youngsters with what is usually their only holiday throughout the year, provides continued support to maintain the sense of wellbeing.

So far The Titan Children’s Trust has provided a variety of specialist schools and homes with PE equipment, activity days at Mount Cook (an outdoor activity centre), sports days, opportunities for children to attend Forest Schools in Shining Cliff Woods and one to one mentoring.

The Titan Children’s Trust future aim is to further promote and fund these activities to more youngsters who will benefit from the feelings felt by taking part in active recreation and sport.

Please please give generously - we are so lucky and take what we have for granted but the happiness we can bring to these children is amazing.
