I am raising money to send me on a school expedition to Borneo in the summer of 2018. While there I will help to build local community projects. Either a class room, community centre, library or even bridges
I will help to improve sanitation and water storage facilities.
I will also be helping with environmental issues, including replanting saplings in areas where deforestation have devastated the area, clearing beaches, clearing traps and helping to protect animals in the area.
I will be fundraising in conjunction with this site by selling cakes, finding sponsors, selling old clothes and anything else I can do to help get me to Borneo.
Although this is a school expedition, it will also challenge me and help with my development. I had a huge Liver operation last year and missed a lot of school, but with hard work and dedication I caught up with my school work and I'm working hard for my GCSEs.
I would be so grateful if you could give something to help me in my quest to get to Borneo. Hopefully I can give something back by helping the people, environment and animals of Borneo.
