In September I will be running the Great North Run to raise funds and awareness for two brilliant charities.

My place of work, The Link works throughout Redcar and Cleveland with children and young people aged 3-18 offering emotional support. Every year we help hundreds of local children, young people and families.
We believe that no child, young person, or family should have to suffer emotional distress alone. Unfortunately to keep the service going we have to rely on funding which has recently been cut. Please help support a vital service needed within the area.

Alzhiemers society provide support for people and their families living with dementia. I have family members who have sadly been effected by this illness. My husband's Grandad also sadly passed away due to this illness. Whilst I didn't get the chance to meet him, I have heard many stories about what a fantastic man he was and how he had such a positive impact on my Husbands life growing up.

The money raised will be split equally between both charities, hence why it is should a big amount. Any donations would be hugely appreciated. Thank you!
