Hello my name is Jessica, myself and my partner are trying to raise money towards IVF treatment. I have just turned 30.

I was born with a rare condition called Blepharophimosis, I have experienced many troubles through my childhood and adult years. I had numerous operations on my eyes and still struggle with my vision. None of these troubles compare to the devastation I felt when I found out that the condition has resulted in premature ovarian insufficiency (Premature Menopause) sadly after numerous test I learnt that my eggs were dying and it was too late for me to save any to be able to use via the IVF process.

My partner Shaun and I have tried for over 7 years before we finally got support. Sadly my condition was not explained to me and I was very let down by the NHS as despite numerous trips to the GP my referral to the infertility clinic came way to late for us.

We are a hard working couple, I am sadly only able to work part time due to my disabilities resulting from my rare condition. Our only hope of conceiving is via IVF, so we are asking for people to read our story and help us raise funds to allow us to fulfil our dream of becoming parents. We have managed to save £3,000 ourselves but this has been over 5 years due to my disabilities but time is against us.
