Story
Laurence, one of our friend's children, has been unwell since July last year. After repeated trips to the Dr, an MRI has confirmed that he has a very rare condition called Craniopharyngioma, a benign brain tumour. Laurence has had surgery to drain a cyst within the tumour but as it is attached to his hypothalamus it is too risky to remove.
The plan is to undergo Proton Beam therapy which is currently unavailable in the UK.
I am walking 26.2 miles on 30th July to raise money to support Laurence and his family whilst they are in the USA receiving treatment.
