My son Eddie is walking up Mount Snowdon in October and is looking for sponsors for this in order to raise money towards an expedition to India he is going on next July. This will be a very challenging and rewarding experience for him and I am very proud of him for taking on this challenge. Part of the expedition is travelling to the slums of T. Nagar in Chennai where he will helping the most disadvantaged and vulnerable children in Indian society. Eddie will spend time teaching the children English in the free tuition centre which this is part of the Elysiom Slum project. 60 children attend the free tuition classes and all are from extremely disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Elysiom Skum Project have been working in the slums of T.Nagar in Chennai for nearly 2 decades helping the most disadvantaged in Indian society. Their beneficiaries tend to be women, dalits and highly vulnerable children. As well as the tuition centre where Eddie will mainly be helping they run free health camps and support children with school supplies.

Eddie is cycling to school and using the bus Fayre he saves to pay towards this and is also doing a sponsored walk up Mount Snowdon in October which any sponsors will be most gratefully received towards the £3000.00 cost of the trip .
