Story
Theres many reasons why i have decided to do this. To volunteer my efforts helping those less fortunate, raise awareness of health issues, to share my knowledge and make a difference in a local community.
I will be spending just over 3 weeks in total in Iringa, Tanzania. I will spend my first week offering my expertise at a university. Lecturing on subjects i have studied over my 4 year degree, offering assistance to professors, setting up and maintaining existing resources.
Working with an orphanage - There are many orphanages located around the area of Iringa, due to a high HIV infection rate 14% of people are affected by HIV, in comparison to the national rate of 7%. I will be helping in the orphanage cooking, cleaning, helping children with home work and running games and activities.
Working with an local NGO in Iringa - I have chosen to do this for the final week of my volunteer project as i have experience in marketing and would love to put that into practice. I will work with the NGO to fund proposals, raise awareness of the work the NGO does for the local community, fundraise for them and gain support from outside organisations.
I will have the time available after May 2018 when i complete my degree i can't think of anything else i would much rather spend my time doing.
Any contribution you can make towards my volunteer project will be greatly appreciated. Every donation you make will go directly towards funding the project! Thank you

I want to say a big thank you also to everyone who has donated I am so appreciative, every penny is going towards a truly important cause. The project would not be possible without your support ❤️✨🇹🇿
