My mother in law has had some very bad luck over the past few years she has had two very big strokes and one small one she also has a leaking valve on her heart which they can't operate on due to the strokes which made her too weak to survive surgery along with a very long list of other medical conditions she suffers with, she can no longer move her right arm and can only walk very short distances with the aid of a stick, her speech is very limited too . Her husband dave who has became her full time carer has tried to apply for a stair lift for her to be able to get up the stairs but they want £ 5500 towards the cost of it Dave who was in the army has spoken to a charity who are helping towards the cost have raised £ 3000 from two different charities , so we need to raise the rest of the money to give jill the stair lift she desperately needs. Jill who used to be a dinner lady at a junior school and helped disabled children get to school on the bus was so independent and had to give up the jobs she loved so much for many years. She has always been there for me and was always happy to help anyone who needed it. I would love to be able to give her back some of the love she has given to me and so many others . So please if anyone can help no matter how little it is to be able to get this amazing lady a bit of her independence back would be fantastic.
