Story
Hi, thanks for supporting my JustGiving page. Kelly Turner is almost 17Yrs old. She was diagnosed with a rare teenage cancer back in October 2015. Her cancer is DSRCT which is Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumours. This affects approximately 20 Teenagers Worldwide annually. Only Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York can and have offered surgery and immunotherapy to Kelly. But at the estimated cost of $1,200,000.00. Thanks again for your support. #doingitforkelly
Having gained a place in this years London Marathon Science teacher Jim McNeill is 'Doing it for Kelly'
Jim has taught Kelly Science for the past 2 and a half years at St Edmund's Catholic School, Dover and thought it was fitting that he could raise some money for Kelly towards her life saving treatment.
26 miles 385 yards is the marathon distance on the 23rd April. A nice target would be £100 for every mile run raising a total amount of £2600 for Kelly. Please sponsor Jim on the Just Giving page. Thanks.
