This day out is because of a guy named Jonathon

Jonathan was born 6th August 1991 starved of oxygen they left his mum too long in labor when he was born he wasn't breathing and had a heart rate of 56 should have been 160+ they used the paddles on him to get his heart going better and spent 2 weeks in scbu he started having fits and got put on to medication at 4 months old, at 6 months old he had a bad fit and that is when I was told about the cerebral palsy although the hospital already knew but didn't tell me he is a quadriplegic with no speech and finds it hard to tell people what he means but is very brainy we have been to the peto institute in Budapest 10 times and had a girl over here 5 times to get him were he is today, as you know he is very cheeky and a ladies man loves anything that goes fast

Jonathon loves cars/vehicles- so we started this project in 2012
we try and get him rides in different vehicles, or even just to sit in the vehicle itself - and snap a few photos.
Although jonathon does not speak , his face always shows you that this is what he loves and what makes him happy
Truckfest has become his favourite event of the year as he gets SO much from it - it is what he lives for!

i would defiantly go as far to say its his favourite day of the year
last year was the first year we asked to sit in vehicles and it was a success - everyone helped, and jonathon was not put off by no amount of pulling and lifting!
he would do whatever it took to get him into a vehicle
we go as a small team of maybe 6/7, inc jonathons friend, and carers, drivers and people to help lift him in and out of vehicles

There is never a set discount for disabled people and carers, sometimes we get one, sometimes we dont, so rather be safe than sorry we aim to have the full amount of money to make sure we can get in

The money raised would go on transport and admission and food
2 of the carers are volunteers, the rest will be paid workers
