Story
7 of us from the Johnson & Johnson Maidenhead Campus are embarking on an incredible journey to support the Open Arms Malawi Charity this May.
We will be helping to build a nursery school and feeding station in a village town on the banks of Lake Malawi.
We are raising funds in order to bring the following items to Malawi, any additional donation will go directly to Open Arms Malawi:
- Kids medicines, soaps, lotions
- Baby items (nappies, blankets, towels, cups)
- Nursery schools: crayons, reading books, pencils, wall charts
- Toys & balls
- Car seats for long hospital journeys
- Laptops
About Open Arms Malawi: Every child has the right to life, survival and development. By supporting Open Arms you are providing medical attention, shelter, food and love to some of Malawi’s orphaned and abandoned children. Your donations allow us to give the children in our care the chance to grow up with the love of a family and the security of a home until they are fit enough to return to their communities. Thank you!

6 years agoWe're half way through and have already reached our fundraising target! Thank you so much for all your donations! Here's a picture of the children of the remote village of Mchocholo, near Mangochi, where we have been busy constructing a primary school, working along side local villagers. This picture captures a shared moment of sheer joy as we danced with the kids!
