Story
As the horrific news broke out on Tuesday morning, my heart went out to all those who had been effected by such a malicious attack. I felt completely numb inside and speechless to think that someone could perform such a sickening attack on innocent people many of whom were children. As the news continued and more information was released confirming those who had lost their lives, some as young as 8 years old, it really brings home the reality of it all and how devastating it must be for all those involved. Lives have been torn apart never to recover. Scenes of mass destruction and blood shed haunting people's minds for the rest of their lives.
That morning I held my three beautiful children so tight, the thought of losing them was beyond thinkable.
Raising money won't bring these people back but if we can just make a small dent into helping the family's to cope with this emotional time and to let them know we are thinking of them. As a country we stand united and we won't be beaten by this.
On Sunday 28th May myself, husband Graham Gore and my close friend Karl Fleming will be taking part in the Liverpool Rock 'n' Roll half marathon. We would like to raise as much money as we can to go to the family of Saffie Rose Roussos from Leyland. We will also be wearing yellow on the day in remembrance of all those who have tragically lost their lives. Please help by donating as little or as much as you can. Thank you.
