For those who know me, you will know that I am adverse to exercise! So the fact that I have signed up to run The Great South Run seems laughable! I will be running 10 miles (hopefully!) so this is something I have had to work towards! I thought that if I try and raise some money for a good cause, this will hopefully get me round!

The Daisy Cave Foundation pays for anything needed for disabled young children to have their own independence. This could be something as easy as getting children in wheelchairs onto the beach and into the sea, something everyone else takes for granted. With specially adapted beach wheelchairs, it means disabled children are able to access the beach and the sea. Sadly, the foundation suffered a loss when one of their adapted beach wheelchairs was stolen from storage! This was obviously a very important piece of equipment for both the charity and to the families that were then unable to use it. It took the charity a long time and a lot of hard work to get this wheelchair.
Please, please dig deep for this amazing charity and help me finish the 10 miles!
