To awaken one day and find that life as you kmow it. No longer exists, your country is being bombed and you have to leave everything you know and love. I have many friends in Ukraine who are stuck in a desperate situation. They and their animals are terrified, and the bombing continues. Many breeders are offering their cherished animals for free, just to get them to safety which, is something I find hard to even begin to contemplate. Friends in Poland, Hungary and Romania are offering shelter and a safe place for these people and their animals. However people will be arriving with very little. As an animal lover, I would like to raise some money - even tiny amounts help - to send to those helping refugees and their pets arriving in Poland so they can buy food and medical treatment for their animals.

Animals are often the forgotten victims of war, they do not know hate or borders, only love. I know that those animals who have travlled with their owners on this journey towards safety, will bring their humans comfort in the days to come. Please help me to support them ❤️

Your generosity is simply overwhelming, I have no words to suitably express how grateful I am to each and every one of you who has donated. The plan is as follows, some of the money raised will be sent directly to a breeder friend in Poland to purchase supplies for those arriving. The remainder will be spent on other items here and for petrol for the transport to Poland to deliver the donations we have received and products sponsored by various companies. I will keep you updated each step of the journey. Please know that this is going to be a fairly long term issue for people, so we will try to reserve a little of the money to be used at a later date for those in need once they have crossed, as getting out of Ukraine will take time for some.
