Story
Isle of Skye is very rural, with many single track roads, therefore ambulances can take some time to get to an emergency. The communities around the island provide heart defibrillators for use in a life threatening heart attack or heart failure situations. In the community area where I live a new defibrillator is desperately needed. The area does not have one at the moment. It is a vital piece of life saving equipment. Being able to use a defibrillator on a person is in heart ♥ failure massively increases their chances of survival.
I want to raise enough money to purchase a new defibrillator which will replace the damaged/broken one at the community hall.
Its something I feel passionate about, helping people. I have been accepted to become a Scottish Ambulance First Responder and will be attending life threatening situations. Having a defibrillator in the vicinity will be vitally important.
Thank you.

7 years agoGreat news Glendale Community Council have made an offer of an significant donation, so with a little more help we can get to target. If you are thinking about donating or thought I will do that later please could you make time to donate. Even if it's small, every penny counts and I'm confident with a little push we can get to the amount needed. Thank you.
