    Story

I'm currently raising money for The Ripple Effect Lancaster in light of the devastation which has hit Afghanistan. I will be run/walking a distance of 5868km which is the distance between Kabul and Liverpool. In addition to this I will be shaving my head to symbolise freedom, something which the women of Kabul no longer have. I will be donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust as not to waste it. Please help by donating to The Ripple Effect, an amazing charity supporting displaced people in the UK and abroad. Visit
therippleeffect.info or search for The Ripple Effect on Facebook for more information.

So it's been a whole year since I started this challenge and I have managed to make it well past the 4k mark (aim to complete by Christmas). My hair is nearing my shoulder (finally) and I am so glad I did it! As well as a tick on the bucket list by shaving my hair I am so glad to have helped raise money for those in need. Thank you to everyone who supported me!

6 months since I started to raise money for The Ripple Effect there is another crisis. Ukraine need our support so I have made the desicion to close this page to transfer funds to the charity sooner. There is already great need for aid for people arriving in the country and without your donations this would not be possible. Aid donations are greatly received. If anyone can donate anything else to this page it would help so much! 1272km completed and a long way to go so I will continue to post updates through The Ripple Effect website. Thank you

4 months gone since the cut, and 804km completed after birthday celebrations and a stint of Covid. Quite pleased!
