Please support us in raising funds for us to volunteer with 'Volunteer Romania' - an organisation that supports children in Romania!

We are a group of professionals working in special education, taking our skills and resources to support children with wide ranging needs in a special needs centre near Deva. We are all dedicated and passionate about our work and we are looking forward to using our knowledge and expertise to make a difference for the children in the centre, and we hope that the work and support we put in place during our week there will have a lasting impact for the staff and children when we leave. We are certain that our experience there will have a lasting impact on us.

We will travel to Romania for a week from the 25th May - 2nd June 2019. Any funds received will be used to contribute towards our travel costs, and to enable us to take a range of aids and resources to support our work there. We will be carrying out several activities to support our fundraising and we are looking forward to taking on the ‘Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge’ in spring 2019 as part of this.
