Ethical Tissue is a not for profit organisation which uses human tissue which has been kindly donated during life and after death for ground breaking biomedical research. This incredible research helps to find early diagnostic tests, better treatments and even cures for illness such as Cancer, Alzheimers, Diabetes, Heart and Lung and Skin diseases. It is vital that new drugs and treatments are tested on Human Tissue rather than animals as its is so much more translatable into the human population. We optimise every tissue that is generously donated and nothing is wasted. Amazing research is going on behind our closed doors every day and I want to help fund some inspirational projects to get them off the ground. We desperately need funds to help do this...

I have decided to put myself forward for the biggest challenge of my life and fight in a Boxing Match on the 16th October 2016. This means I have less than 7 weeks to learn a new sport and become good enough to fight another woman in front of a crowd at The Bradford Hotel.

I have never done anything like this before however after losing 4 stone in the last 4 months I want to finish my weight loss journey with a bang! I also am passionate about my job and want to make the pain and suffering of the next 7 weeks mean something for the future. Human tissue makes a real difference in biomedical research and I hope that my pain, sweat and tears will help in someway.
