I want to try raise money to help the stray animals of Madeira. I was there in February and was shocked to see how many stray's walked the streets, a lot of them suffering from skin conditions. The main problem is that these animals are not spayed/neutered and continue to breed, adding more unwanted litters to the streets. I'm going back to Madeira in October and plan to visit a charity I have been in contact with and want to help them as much as I can. I also want to help the animals directly myself, picking up the strays and driving them to the vets/nearest shelter. If things go well I might even find a dog to adopt and take home.
