I'll be climbing the highest mountain in the United Kingdom - Ben Nevis to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. My high school Alva Academy raises a huge amount of money each year for this very worthy charity which is close to my heart. From next term I'll be in sixth year and we take responsibility for the charity donations and aim to beat last years total. I was keen to combine something I love doing and help do my bit in raising money at the same time. In training so far I've climbed 4 munros and climbed a few of our local hills in the Ochils, none nearly as high or long distance wise but I'm motivated to achieve this goal.
