My name is Joe and I am 8 years old. In September I acheived my 600m swimming badge.
What am I doing?
I am going to swim a mile for charity - I have never swum that far before. Thats 80 lengths of the pool that I learn in
When am I doing it?
13th January 2017
Where am I doing it?
The Gateway School, Tiffield. 6:30pm until I finish.
By donating to this page, my mummy will split the money and give 50% to Cancer Research UK (Registered Charity Number 1089464) and 50% to my Cub Scout Group - 50th Northampton (Hunsbury) - Registered Charity Number 30610
I chose Cancer Research because I think it is a horrible disease and I want to help them find a cure
I chose my Cub Scout Group as they would like to purchase parade flags for the group and this will help to pay for those.

7 years agoWell...he did it!!! He swam 1 mile in 1hr and 5 mins! Proud doesn't even begin to describe it. Thank you to everyone who sponsored him, We will publish the actual totals once its been added up. Huge thanks to Jump Into Swimming for helping us to organise it.
