On the 22nd of May 2017 my fantastic, clever and much-loved sister Nell was tragically taken from us during the Manchester Arena bombing. The loss of someone so dear can never truly be put into words; it’s not past memories you miss (they will last forever), but a future of which she should have always been a part.

Out of this tragedy we as a family would like to create hope, and with the help of some fantastic people we have been able to set up the Remembering Nell Foundation with the aim of achieving this. The Foundation aims to improve the lives of young people in the North West, providing local charities with the funding they need to deliver projects which will do just that!

On the 20th of May I will be undertaking the Great Manchester Run for the Remembering Nell Foundation and in honour of the brilliant little sister that she was! My aim is to complete the half marathon course in under two hours and raise as much as possible. I hope I can do Nell proud!!
