I am running this half marathon to raise money for an orphanage in Zimbabwe, where my Auntie lives and works. I have visited twice and they do amazing things. They look after children who have lost their parents and children whose parents or family are unable to look after them. This is done by one nurse, roughly 6 house parents and 10 maintenance staff!

The children have to walk for over hour and a half too and from school, so doing a half marathon may not seem like much of an achievement, but everyone who knows me will know how much I hate running and how unfit I am!

It costs between £1000-£2000 to run the orphanage for a week, so I want to raise at least £1000 to help that. Any donations that you can afford are greatly appreciated. Have one less beer on a night out and chuck some money this way.
