Please can we all have a small whip round to help colin, Rachel, James and Hayley with there hotel costs while they are at Bristol. They could be there for some time and hotels around hospital are very expensive. Any spare money would then be past on to the cancer charity to help fund research in to this terrible illness. Little Leai is only 8 months old. Please feel free to share. Thank you in advance.

John has given me permission to update the page.
Firstly a Huge Thank you to John and Claire Stone, for the amazing support and Friendship, and for setting up this.
Leia, our most Precious Granddaughter, has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumour.
She is under the care of the Bristol Childrens Hospital, where the staff are absolutely amazing.
We were in the Hospital last week and again today( Friday). We will be returning to Bristol next week to begin her Chemotherapy treatment.
As you can see from her photo, she is happy at smiley and none the wiser at present, and her ability to be able to cope with all the prodding and poking, general anesetics, and strange people/faces is humbling and a strength that she gets from her Mummy and Daddy(James and Hayley).
In the short time it took us to be diagnosed in Exeter and transferred to Bristol, it left us little time to plan and make accommodation plans.
The Hospital do have a charity house(Ronald McDonald), but there were already 15 families waiting for a place there, so we moved into a hotel, only 5 mins from hospital.
We are all overwhelmed with all that has been donated, which will cover our hotel stays and travel. James and Hayley would like to give any monies left over to The Ronald McDonald fund, which is raising money to renovate and empty property right across from the hospital.
Being able to stay together as a family and to support each other, through this terrible time, has been a blessing. Words cannot express how eternally grateful we are.
