    Story

Falkirk Bairns have been outpouring in their grief and gratitutude following the utterly devastating news regarding John McAleer aka Mr Falkirk M&S John who has sadly passed away.

A nicer guy you couldn’t meet and a Falkirk legend that worked in Sleeves Records in Cow Wynd then the M&S store in the High Street and laterly the Retail Park.

John is well known as the cheery face at the door keeping everybody safe and knowing most customers by their name. A genuinely lovey guy who has left behind a much loved wife Lesley and son Adam. We all knew him as the happy cheeky guy at M&S always full of the chat and an absolute pleasure to know.

People have all been genuinley shocked and saddened by this tragedy and want to help so this fundraiser has been created for the family John has left behind. We couldnt let Johns passing go without a tribute to the wonderful customer service he has given to the Falkirk Bairns for all these years and this page is created for this wonderful gentleman from our town.

    Rest in peace John xxx

Wow! £10,000.00 This shows the community we have in Falkirk and how as a town, we have come together in our grief at losing a gentleman who was a friend to everyone. The type of customer service we all experienced from John was one which cannot be replicated with an online food shop. John was sometimes the only person people had spoken to that week. This fundraising has brought us together as a town and I’d like to thank each and every one of you who have taken the time to send a message of condolence to the family and colleagues of John.
