We are looking for funding to help send some of our volunteers on specific training courses to facilitate as much assistance as possible for the families we are involved with. We currently run The Freedom Program, but are limited due to the cost of the training. As a group we offer peer support and weekly coffee mornings, as a way of a drop in, we also offer practical help and advice and clothes and food when needed. Sadly this is a much needed service and each week we see our numbers rise. Any funding we receive goes out to help these families, and we signpost to other agencies, however we would love to have our own office to make it easier for the women and families to know how to contact us. This would allow us to be able to meet some of our service users in a safe, risk free environment.
