As you are aware myself and my sister along with a fantasic team of volunteers go out supporting the homeless community within manchester city centre , we are about much more than just a sandwich , we try and offer our support in lots of ways. Yes we take out food for 100 homeless people , yes we offer hot drinks, but we do also support in others ways , offering to attend medical appointments, council/housing appointments , pick ups when released from jail and no one to turn too .

We are totally aware winter is near and we need to raise valuable funds to buy winter essentials , sleeping bags dont come cheap but are a absolute life line for these guys, hats, gloves, handwarmers, camping mats, tents. These are a must to see these guys through till april at the very least .

so we at Unity Outreach Glossop are going to do a winter sleep out at the end of november , swapping our cozy homes and warm beds for a night on the streets of manchester with only a sleeping bag😮🥶 it wont matter what the weather is like we will be there raising awareness showing all how tough the streets really are.
