On the 29th of September 2018 I will be attempting to Cycle to Chester City Centre & back, starting from Crewe (approximately 50 miles) to raise money for the Critical Care Unit at The Royal Stoke University Hospital. I am doing this ride in loving memory of my Grandad, Peter Bennett, who sadly passed away on the 21st June 2018 following a 5 week fight from Cardiac Arrest.

During the 5 weeks he was situated on the CCU Ward where every attempt was made by the fantastic staff to get my Grandad back on his feet & back home where he belonged. Unfortunately this was not meant to be, as he quickly deteriorated and had to depart from us.

The Staff excelled in every way possible and deserve recognition for the amazing job that they do, caring for our loved ones on a daily basis. All donantions recieved will be handed directly to the CCU Ward as a thankful gesture for the hard work & service they provide.

This will be my first attempt to ride to Chester & Back. I will be finishing the ride at Beer dock, Crewe, to sample one of the many IPA’s my Grandad was a HUGE fan off. Many thanks in Advance
