Josephine finds herself in a waking nightmare that began in August last year when a series of events lead to her being involved in a horrific car accident. Initially there were doubts she could be saved, as her injuries were complex and extensive. Having so far endured 25 operations, Josephine is wheelchair-bound and homeless. Her life has been altered in ways she could not have imagined possible just a few short months ago. She is left feeling vulnerable and scared about her future, while potentially facing more life-changing surgery.
