My school, Royal Alexandra and Albert School, have been supporting and raising money for the Open Arms Orphanage in Malawi for many years. They do great work with children who would otherwise be without basics we take for granted, such as, food, water and education. In the summer of 2018, some of my classmates and I are going to the orphanage to work; maintaining facilities, teaching the children and generally making ourselves useful.

We are currently fundraising for the trip ourselves, and one of our activities is a sponsored bike ride. We will be cycling the equivalent of the length of lake Malawi (580km). Thank you for your generosity in sponsoring us.
