With my school Kettering Science Academy I have been given the opportunity to help children and local communities in Kenya for 4 weeks in the summer of 2018.

I will need to raise £4000 to be able to help provide the tools and materials for communities in Kenya. This will be with a great team from Camps International to help the local community.

The help I will be able to give is priceless to the communities in Kenya, some of the things I will be helping with on my journey will be building schools, building desks for school children, digging elephant watering holes, making ethical elephant deterrents( this reduces elephant poaching and improves crop production),installing fresh water tanks, clearing rubbish from the beaches, building houses. I may even be asked to help teach children English whilst I'm there! This can give the children of Kenya a great start in life.

The average life expectancy in Kenya is 55 !!!! And there are 51%of the population in East Africa who live in absolute poverty, feeding their families on as little as 75p a day !! Going out to Kenya I will be able to help with their livestock (by goat deworming among other things) and farming in turn helping them provide for their families in the future.

I would love to have the opportunity to help those in need, please help me make this a reality instead of a dream.
