Story
At the beginning of August, 6 years ago we were preparing to bring our son home from the Southmead Neonatal Unit, after his arrival in June. I am now raising money for books that will be gifted to parents to read with their babies in the unit and when they go home. I know first hand what a difference the act of reading a baby can make, Research shows that reading helps bonding between parent and baby, aids cognitive development and voice recognition and reduces stress for babies and their families. We have £200 already and are hoping to raise a further £200 to help as many families as possible. Usborne will also give us an extra percentage of free extra books!
Please sponsor a book or part of a book and as a thank you we will put a label in the book to say it is from you!
AS LITTLE AS £1 WILL BUY A BOOK FOR A PARENT TO READ WITH THEIR BABY!
Thank you so much,
Josie, Nick and Benjy
