I am going on a four week expedition to Tanzania where I will be benefitting local communities through helping them with community projects. Part of my work will include building a new school or home for those in need. Whilst in Tanzania, I will also be doing wildlife conservation work which will enhance the local biodiversity.

This trip will also provide me with a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the life of people much less fortunate than me. It will also give me an amazing experience, which will benefit me in the future in many ways. From applying for jobs to viewing my own country differently.

So far my fundraising efforts have made £1350. I have done car boot sales, cake sales/refreshment tables, stalls at fairs and have also been getting money from a part time job. Generous donations from friends and family have been a great help in getting nearer to my target; I am very thankful for this. However, I still need to raise £2500. This month I am looking to raise £300 from kind contributions. Your money will go a long way in helping both me and the communities I'll meet.
