    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

I was diagnosed with a highly symptomatic tumour on my uterus in 2014. It has grown and got so bad by now that it interferes with my daily life immensely, preventing me having quality time with my daughter, work and enjoying life. As a result my Iron levels went so low requiring blood transfusions. My relationship broke down and I was left on my own with debt, rent arrears and other unpleasant aspects of daily life. I really need this sorted so I can get back my normal life back and be able to work. The treatment options available in the UK is only organ removal, with lengthy recovery time, which I cannot afford. The innovative procedure abroad will provide that the test is done to check whether the condition is benign prior to the procedure (whereas in the UK this only can be done after- this could be too late). The contribution will go towards travel costs, child care while operative and recovery period and to cover as much of the procedure costs and the tests cost.
