My son John was involved in a fatal road traffic accident as a pedestrian. He was 30 years of age and leaves behind 2 sisters and his 3 year old child who was devoted to him & him to her. Crowd funding is my last hope of raising the funds to pay for my sons funeral. John was taken from his family far far too early and he is now looking over us all as we try our best to carry on without him in our lives. John fell victim to careless driving with the most severe of consequences to him and his family. He was taken to Aintree trauma hospital with serious injuries. John was placed in an induced coma, he fought long and hard for 7 weeks to stay with his family, but he grew too weak and gained his angel wings leaving the family broken beyond words. Our lives have been on hold since the accident, John had to have a Home Office post mortem that took many weeks and was extremely distressing for us as a family, we are now waiting for the inquest & CPS to inform us if charges are to be brought against the driver, I have been told this can take up to 2 years. As this was an unexpected tragedy John didn’t have any insurance policy In place, any funds we had were used to travel daily to and from the hospital to be at my sons bedside praying he would be coming home. We are reaching out for financial kindnesss to help with the costs of his funeral & other costs arising from our loss.
