As you may all be aware whilst in Cyprus this little puppy found us after being dumped under our rubbish bin. After keeping her overnight in our apartment we fell in love with her and she fell in love with Sophie. We decided to call her 'Ime' which is Estonian for miracle as she found us on the day of the solar exclipse and even at 7 weeks old she created so much love. We decided to adopt her and bring her home to the UK. Every day in Cyprus dogs are being abandoned and we knew that if we were to leave her in Cyprus there may be a possibility that she would have to be put down due to the huge amount of dogs that are left homeless everyday found in bins or in plastic bags. After 15 days of waiting for someone to claim her we are now starting the process of bringing her home. We have been told that the cost of this is around £650. We had so many kind messages off people wanting to help to bring her to the UK that we have set up this page to help to get her home. I must stress we were in two minds about whether to do this as we were willing to fund the process ourselves but there is a possibility that once in the UK Cassie our own dog may not take to her then we would have to find an alternative home and if this happened then we would like to get her rehomed to the loving home she deserves, without the cost of the transportation fees coming into the equation. Any money raised over this amount or if the costs come in less than quoted then all monies will go to the Paphos Private Animal Sanctuary in Paphos to help with the incredible work that they do.
