Story
We recently suffered a traumatic miscarriage and want to help others in the same situation. The Snowdrop room at the local hospital is a room for parents going through this difficult time and is in need of some home comforts, such as pictures, bedding cushions etc.
I have also lost a close family member to cancer and have realised how the loss of hair can make people feel, and how having a wig can restore some dignity. I have been growing my hair to have it cut off to send to the princess trust and would also like to send the funds to have the wig made.
To raise money I have organised a disco at the Rivets Sports and Social Club on 12th July, 8pm until 11.30pm. A food van has been organised and we have some brilliant raffle prizes. If you would like to join us it is £5.00 per person and you can buy tickets from me, my mum or my sister Fiona. If you would like to help us reach the £1000 goal please donate through this page, thank you for taking the time to read this it means such a lot to, Emily xx
