When I found out I was pregnant with Evie I joined an online group called baby centre, on there I had support from an amazing group of women who were all at the same point in pregnancy. We all grew (literally) together and when the babies were born we moved on to a Facebook group where we share photos and news of how our littleones are doing. A few months ago a little girl who is Evie's age went to the doctors to check an issue with her eye and was sadly diagnosed with neuroblastoma. Evelyn is having to go through chemo then an operation to remove a tumour then radiotherapy. She was 9 months old when her mum and dad found out. Even though I have never met this little amazing little girl or her wonderful family I feel that we are a second family (some have already married the babies off!!!) and it has really hit us hard in the group, I know we all look forward to pictures of Evelyn and updates as and when her mum can.

At Christmas myself and some of my family thought we would do the Nuclear Summer Party 2017 on 29th July and with the news of Evelyn I have decided to turn it into a bit of a fund raiser to help the family.

I have had permission from Evelyn's mum and I have linked the Facebook page for you to have a look at. Please donate what you can for this cause, I cannot begin to imagine what this family are going through and if I can ease a little bit of pressure by doing this then it's all worthwhile!
