Weʼve raised £400 to help buy a steam cleaner for a residential care home for the blind

Story
My Mum lived in a wonderful care home for about 4 years. She was blind, deaf and very frail. Sometimes she had accidents because she could not get to the bathroom quickly. The staff at Thomas Tawell House in Norwich were always kind and understanding and helped my Mum keep her dignity.
A member of staff is trying to raise £500 to buy a steam cleaner for keeping the bathrooms and bedrooms as clean as possible.
My Mum died Tuesday evening and I would like to help the staff by raising the money to buy the cleaner.

With off line donations I was able to take £500 to the wonderful care home to help buy the cleaner they so desperately needed. Thank you all.

7 years agoI would love to be able to say that we have raised enough money to buy the steam cleaner for Thomas Tawell House. Everybody I talk to about this care home are complimentary, especially about the cleanliness of the rooms and shared areas. The cleaners do an amazing job and are so careful with each residents possessions, making sure that everything goes back where the resident expects it to be. (Don't forget these people have poor to no eyesight). They take great pride in the cleanliness of the rooms. Please help to make this possible. thank you.
