Story
We have lost our beloved recreational motor home and the property of our friends contained inside the motor home.
We have also accrued court costs from fighting to regain the motor home which was held to ransom by the defendant who was a family friend for many years.
We have received no help from the county court at Truro, in fact the case was struck out without having a chance to have a court hearing despite the court fees being paid. The ruled biasedly in favour of the Cornish defendant. Despite numerous letters to the court, they will not acknowledge the illegal ruling and have not addressed the lack of a court hearing despite fees being paid.
The bizarre private settlement made between the judge and the defendant resulted in the defendant being enabled to keep the vehicle and its contents.
We are left with no choice but to seek compensation through charitable donations from anyone who is willing to help our cause.
We aim to raise £4,200.00 to cover the costs of the motor home, the £200 court fees and the value of the missing items which were inside the vehicle.
