I am pleading all people of kind heart for supporting my friend Kasia in her fight against cancer.
Kasia is 36 years old. She is a mum to Amelia 9 and Fabian 11. They mean a world to her and she wants to live for them. She has got a husband Robert, they have met when they were 15 and they were inseparable since then.

Kasia started to experience bad headaches in November last year and a series of tests began. 

On 17th of January 2019 her husband Robert remembers the day, they were crudely told that Kasia had cancer, they were then left in doctor’s room to absorb this news, to be visited shortly after by another consultant and asked if they knew what to expect. Again they were left to deal with the row emotions this caused.
Eventually Kasia had to give up her job that she had worked so hard for.
Kasia underwent a series of tests to be then told they were not sure if it was a cancer, but Kasia’s symptoms persisted.
Through Robert’s persistance and many phone calls and hospital visits Kasia had a brain biopsy in LEEDS GENERAL INFIRMARY .
It was on 27th of May 2019 when they finally received the diagnosis which shocked them completely because that was a very rare of brain cancer called medulloblastoma.
This prompted Robert’s research, because until this point they had lived with uncertainty of not knowing what was wrong or what they were facing. The knowledge that Kasia is only 33rd person in the UK to be diagnosed with adult medulloblastoma brings to life how rare this cancer is.
Robert’s research includes being in touch with specialists around the world.
He has contacted and they both visited a family in Kent  who have been sharing their journey with them as Nina was diagnosed with the same type of cancer nearly 3 years ago.
He has discovered that proton beam therapy will give Kasia the best hope of survival. This treatment will not be available to Kasia on the NHS and it is expensive, 60.000 pounds.
Robert and Kasia have 20.000 pounds which they will be using towards this amount.
Kasia is quiet, unassuming and shy, she dotes on her family and deserves every chance to survive this cancer. She dreams to stay alive with her husband and children, to see their growth and to look after them.
Robert is determinated to do anything  he can to keep Kasia alive.

Zwracam się z ogromną prośbą do wszystkich ludzi o pomoc mojej przyjaciółce Kasi w Jej walce z rakiem.
Kasia ma 36 lat, Jej mężem jest Robert. Poznali się gdy mieli 15 lat i od tej pory są nierozłączni. Oboje są cudownymi rodzicami dla 9 letniej Amelki i 11 letniego Fabiana.
Wszystko zaczęło się w listopadzie 2018 od nasilających się bólów głowy. W celu zdiagnozowania ich przyczyny rozpoczęto serię testów i badań.
Robert wspomina dzień kiedy 17 stycznia 2019 zostali poinformowani przez lekarza w szpitalu po rezonansie magnetycznym, że Kasia ma raka mózgu. Zostawiono ich z tą wiadomością w pokoju lekarskim, pogrążonych w głębokiej rozpaczy. Po chwili do gabinetu przyszedł kolejny lekarz pytając, czy wiedzą czego mogą się spodziewać. Po szybkim wyjaśnieniu pozostawiono ich z tymi okrutnymi informacjami. Z powodu stanu zdrowia Kasia została zmuszona zrezygnować z pracy.
Jednakże lekarze nie byli pewni swojej diagnozy ponieważ kolejne badania nie wykazywaly komorek rakowych, co dało Kasi i Robertowi wielką nadzieję. Bóle głowy jednak nie ustępowały.
W maju 2019 po miesiącach stresów i niepewności, po biopsji wykonanej w LGI Leeds , Kasia i Robert usłyszeli ostateczną diagnozę – rdzeniak.
Ten rodzaj raka jest wyjątkowo rzadki. Kasia jest 33 dorosla osobą w UK, która została zdiagnozowana na tą chorobę.
Od tej pory Robert czyta wszystko na temat tego typu raka, kontaktuje się z klinikami i lekarzami na całym świecie. Spotkali się także z rodzina z Kent. Nina niecale 3 lata temu tez przechodzila przez to samo.
Robert dowiedział się, że protonoterapia da Kasi największe szanse na wyleczenie. W tej sprawie rozmawiał z lekarzami w roznych ośrodkach medycznych, którzy to podjęliby się leczenia gdy  zostaną zebrane fundusze.
Protonoterapia nie jest finansowana przez państwo i kosztuje 60.000 funtów. Kasia i Robert mają 20.000 funtów które przeznacza na leczenie protonowe jednak wciąż brakuje 40.000 tys funtow 
Kasia jest skromną osobą, ktora bardzo dba o swoją rodzinę i zasługuje na każdą szansę przezwyciężenia tej strasznej choroby.
Robert jest bardzo zdeterminowany i zrobi wszystko żeby uratować swoją ukochaną żonę.
Każda wpłacona kwota zwiększy szansę uratowania Kasi.
