Dear All,

As you know am a semi-fit person living in Istanbul =) Longest distance I have ever ran is around 10km.

So I thought it would be a challenge to sing up for the 15km Istanbul - Vodafone Run.

I will be running for the Mind Your Waste Foundation, where you can find more detailed information below. Every single dollar donated will be transferred to the foundation.

As Mind Your Waste Foundation, we aim at changing the society’s behavior to prevent littering and ensure that people throw their garbage in trash cans, and creating a clean environment.

Our vision is based primarily on living in a society where there’s no pollution and people do not litter, secondly, create public awareness to waste minimization.

With the aim of planting the seeds of an environmentally conscious society and living in a clean environment, our initial focus is to increase the noticeability in the common public areas, reach various segments of the society and raise awareness. In order to reach our goal, we cooperate with municipalities, public and civil entities, non-profit organizations, schools and universities.
